Cookie Policy
This policy explains the essential cookies Ramblify uses and the optional analytics you control.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that a website can store in your browser. They can help a site operate, remember preferences, understand how it is used and support security. Similar technologies may also store or access information on your device.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies support core site functions, including authentication, account sessions, security and remembering your cookie choice. They are always enabled and cannot be switched off through Ramblify’s cookie settings.
The first-party ramblify_consent cookie records whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It lasts up to 12 months unless you change your choice or clear your browser cookies.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Ramblify activates Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand page use and product interactions and improve the experience. GA4 activates only after you explicitly accept analytics. You can reject it, and essential features still work.
GA4 may set cookies such as _ga, which helps distinguish visitors, and _ga_*, which helps maintain analytics session information. Their lifetimes can vary with Google’s configuration and browser settings.
Your choice and controls
On your first visit, you can accept or reject analytics. Your choice is stored in the ramblify_consent cookie. You can change it at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. If you withdraw permission, Ramblify stops future GA4 tracking and attempts to remove accessible GA4 cookies.
Browser controls
You can also use your browser settings to manage or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies may affect account or preference features.
Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy as Ramblify develops or as the technologies and services we use change. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page.
